Matte Painting of the two towers of London recreating an apocalyptic scene, but leaving a space for hope. This time I decided to make two scenes of the same place, abandoned and deserted, recreating the end of the world, but adding elements that symbolize life and hope, such as the growth of plants and herbs.
For the elaboration of both matte paintings I chose an image as a base and from there I looked for other reference images such as sand textures, desert landscapes and scenarios where abandonment is reflected. During the process I learned new lighting and digital painting techniques in Photoshop.
